Woman wearing false nose and moustache wanted over perfume theft

As disguises go, it’s not one of the most convincing.

A woman wearing a fake nose and moustache walked into a shop – and now police want to speak to her about a stolen bottle of perfume.

CCTV images of two women have been released after the theft of a £95 bottle of Chanel perfume from a Boots store in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

They entered the shop before one of the pair took the bottle and left without making any attempt to pay.

‘One of the women was wearing sunglasses, a fake nose and moustache,’ said a Wiltshire Police spokesman.

‘They met up with a man who is described as white, 6ft tall, with short dark hair and of medium build.’

The man was wearing a black T-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and trainers.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
