Cops trying to identify Durham perfume bandit

DURHAM -- Police are appealing to the public in an effort to identify a suspect in the theft of perfume from Durham Region stores.

The lone suspect is responsible for the theft of thousands of dollars worth of perfume from Shoppers Drug Mart outlets in Pickering and Ajax, Durham police said. He’s believed to have struck on three occasions between July 15 and 23.

Police have now released security camera images of a suspect in hopes of identifying him. He’s white, with a average build and dirty blonde hair.
