So apart from right outfit and make up, make sure you wear the right perfume too for the occasion. Smelling like body odor or smelling too strong of perfume is always something to avoid when you are with a loved one.
If we are talking about strong, in a good sense, as staying power, these are the ones I wear that I think meet the bill:

3. Aromatic Elixir
4. Obsession
5. Ysatis (even the EDT seems quite potent)
6. Femme Rochas (but I am not sure)
7. Shalimar EDP (one of the very few gorgeous AND strong)
8. Poison by Christian Dior (an all time favorite)
9. Giorgio (one of those horribly smelling scrubbers)
10. Samasara EDP or Poison Dior...(not sure which)
