More than $50,000 in perfume stolen from pharmacy

Crime stinks. But this heist likely smelled quite rosy.

Police are searching for four men after more than $50,000 worth of perfume was stolen from an Aurora pharmacy Aug. 22.

About 1:30 a.m., men are seen on surveillance cameras entering a Shoppers Drug Mart with garbage cans and recycling bins at a plaza on Hollandview Trail.

Once inside the shop, suspects headed for the perfume section where they dumped bottles into the receptacles and headed for the doorway.

Police hope releasing an image of the thieves in action might help the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the York Regional Police No. 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7142 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-tips.
