Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom Cologne

Jo Malone are releasing a new limited-edition floral composition this year called Osmanthus Blossom. It seems to fit in an ephemeral series having featured Sakura Blossom (2011) and Plum Blossom (2012). One of the most delicate scents to be experienced - yet, as I discovered, capable of surprising headiness at times - the perfume of osmanthus is particularly refined and has been captured well in a perfume like Hermès Osmanthe Yunnan...

Jo Malone London has unveiled a new, limited-edition fragrance, Osmanthus Blossom Cologne. It will be available in the brand’s travel retail boutiques worldwide from May. The juice – described as delicately exotic – opens with a note of petitgrain, atop a heart of Osmanthus blossom, which leads to a base of cashmere wood.

"Delicately exotic. This white flower captures the duality of apricot counterpoised with supple leather. Luminous petitgrain and luscious peach and orange flower ripple over voluptuous cashmere wood."

Recommended fragrance combining partners are, Blackberry & Bay to add a tart verdant depth or Nectarine Blossom & Honey to amplify with a sophisticated sweetness.
