WATCH: Wes Anderson's French Love Triangle Plays Out For Prada's Latest "Candy" Fragrance

Everyone who watched movies knows that director Wes Anderson has his own unique approach to film making. And most people know Parada is in a league of its own, put these two things together and you get one hell of an ad.

The video, featured above, is the first in a three part series that features French model and actress Léa Seydoux as Candy and two friends Peter Gadiot and Rodolphe Paul as Gene and Julius, both of whom are trying to get Candy's affection. Although the film is clearly French New Wave-inspired, the direction of the short film is signature Wes Anderson.

From what we can see so far, the film will be darkly charming, with plenty of spring style inspiration (those bangs and the pink polish on Seydoux? Amazing). Plus, it has succeeded in piquing our interest in how this new version of Candy will smell — we've heard that the fragrance's gourmand base will be lightened up with the addition of citrus and floral notes. Thankfully, we won't have to wait with bated breath for long: Candy L'Eau will be hitting shelves (and, perhaps, our vanities) in April.
