Russian Emperor Nikolaus II Perfumes

On Monday, Zinaida Volodina-Pessoa, head of the Canada-based Slavic Culture Association, donated a collection of perfumes owned by the family of last Russian Emperor Nikolaus II to the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum complex outside Saint Petersburg. I am sure, there is a certain level of Russian pride comes with such artifacts. 


The collection consists of six bottles with fragrant substances, including those used by Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna and Nikolaus II himself. 


He is the grandson of Tsar Alexander II who was blown up by a bomb in is Easter cake. Then the second was the 300 anniversary of the Romanov Family. This is the Emperor of Russia, Grand Duke of Finland, and titular King of Poland

At the time of his reign  other major events involving Russia itself were World War I, the creation of the Russian Duma after the 1905 Revolution, the February Revolution in Russia which forced him to abdicate his throne, the October Revolution, in which the Bolshevik Party under Vladimir Lenin took control of the country In 1981, Nicholas and his immediate family were recognised as martyred saints by the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. On 14 August 2000, they were recognised by the synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. This time they were not named as martyrs, since their deaths did not result immediately from their Christian faith; instead, they were canonized as passion bearers.
